Pre-order policy

Pre-ordering lets you lock in new releases before they arrive. Here's how it works at Goblin Games so you know what to expect.

How pre-orders work

Publishers and distributors often let us order upcoming releases early and tell us how many copies we'll get. We open pre-orders based on that number. You pay in full when you place your pre-order.

Release dates

Where we have an expected release date, we show it on the product page. These dates come from our suppliers and can change. Some products are listed without a date because the supplier hasn't given one yet. We update the product page as we hear more, so check there for the latest.

Delays and short allocations

Manufacturing problems, shipping delays and cut allocations do happen. Sometimes a supplier sends fewer copies than promised, or cancels a product altogether. When stock is short, click and collect and in-store pre-orders are filled first, then shipped orders. If we can't fill your pre-order, we'll let you know and refund you in full to your original payment method.

Cancelling a pre-order

You can cancel a pre-order at any time before it's shipped or collected and get a full refund. Just email us at info@goblingames.com.au. Refunds are for the amount you paid, not the product's current or resale value. We process refunds within 3 days, though your bank may take a little longer to show them.

Orders with in-stock items

If your order has both pre-order and in-stock items, we hold the whole order until everything arrives. If you'd like your in-stock items sent sooner, email us and we can split your order. You'll need to pay the extra shipping for the second delivery.

Click and collect

You can pick up your pre-order from our store at 1244 Burwood Highway, Upper Ferntree Gully. Choose click and collect at checkout and we'll let you know when it's ready. We're open Wednesday to Friday 1pm to 6pm, and Saturday and Sunday 10am to 6pm.
